Stan no longer exists as an individual.
Now the universe is the individual.
He’s part of it.
A person can only be understood
in universal terms.
Personal situations no longer exist.
There are only interpersonal situations.
Humans must submit to Nature
or live in lonely misery.
Eternity is love, and all events are
eternally simultaneous acts of love.
We see what we think we see.
To make a work of art the artist must
necessarily stand apart from life,
intimately involved with death.
